Shakib to play Global Super League

Shakib Al Hasan is set to represent Dubai Capitals in the upcoming Global Super League (GSL).

Dubai Capitals announced on social media on Sunday that they have brought Shakib into the team as a replacement for South African spinner Keshav Maharaj.

Shakib was last seen on the cricket field in the Pakistan Super League.

Each participating team will play four matches in the league stage, with the top two teams advancing directly to the final on July 18.
Dubai Capitals will begin their campaign on July 10 against Central Stags. Their next matches are scheduled for July 11 against Hobart Hurricanes, July 13 against Guyana Amazon Warriors, and their final group-stage match on July 16 will be against Rangpur Riders.
