Suresh Raina to make acting debut in Tamil film

Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, beloved in Tamil Nadu for his time with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, is all set to make his acting debut in a Tamil-language film.

Fondly called "Chinna Thala" by CSK fans, Raina will receive a full-fledged mass-hero introduction in the film, complete with dramatic low-angle shots and cheerleaders welcoming him on screen. The project is being produced under the Dream Knight Stories (DKS) banner.

DKS officially announced Raina's entry into cinema through a video shared on Instagram, where the cricketer is seen walking into a stadium to the cheers of an enthusiastic crowd.

The film, which remains untitled, will be directed by Logan and produced by D Saravana Kumar. It is expected to revolve around the sport of cricket.
