Rain likely across Bangladesh: BMD

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, in various parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9:00 AM Saturday.

According to the weather bulletin issued on Saturday morning, rain or thundershowers are expected at most places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Many areas in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions may also experience similar weather.

The bulletin further warned of moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas across the country.

Daytime temperatures may drop slightly, while nighttime temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged.

On Friday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 34°C in Dimla and Rangpur. The lowest temperature on Saturday was 23.5°C in Tangail.

In Dhaka, sunset is expected at 6:50 PM on Saturday and sunrise on Sunday will be at 5:16 AM.
