Simon Taufel to spearhead umpire training for BCB

Renowned former ICC Elite Panel umpire Simon Taufel is poised to lead umpire education in Bangladesh under a new three-year contract. 

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the development on Monday, signaling a significant boost for umpiring standards in the country.

"We've nearly finalised the agreement with Simon. He along with his team will work on educating our umpires," stated BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul following the board's 19th meeting at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
