Thousands of people gathered in Tehran after Friday prayers to protest Israeli military actions, expressing strong support for Iran’s government and regional resistance groups.

State-run Iranian television reported the demonstrations, highlighting chants against Israel and warnings against possible U.S. intervention. Protesters carried flags of Iran, Palestine, and Hezbollah, and held up images of Iranian commanders killed in Israeli airstrikes, notably from the attack on 13 June.
The event was described by state media as a “Day of Unity and Resistance” for the Iranian nation.

Similar protests took place in other cities including Tabriz in the northwest and Shiraz in the south, reflecting broad public solidarity against Israeli aggression.

Security forces maintained a visible presence as tensions continue to escalate in the region.
