Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they carried out multiple airstrikes in Iran overnight, deploying over 60 Israeli warplanes targeting several locations in Tehran.

According to reports from BBC, around 120 missiles were used in the attacks, aimed at military missile production centers and a nuclear research facility.
The Israeli military claims these sites are linked to Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

So far, Iran has not commented on the attacks.

Meanwhile, Iran launched a missile strike on Be’er Sheva in southern Israel. Fire was seen near the Microsoft office there, damaging some residential buildings. Firefighters arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations. Five people were injured and taken to hospital. It is believed that Iran targeted the Gav-Yam Advanced Technology Park again.

According to some local media quoted by BBC, a missile struck near the Microsoft building in Be’er Sheva and a car caught fire.

IDF confirmed that Iran launched the missile attack on Israel, though Iran has not yet responded to this claim.

Reports citing Israeli railway officials said that due to the attack, train stations in northern Israel were temporarily closed.

The city authorities have stated that rescue teams are working at the site.

Early Friday morning local time, Iran fired missiles at Be’er Sheva, triggering citywide warning sirens.

Israel’s emergency response team Magen David Adom shared images of the missile attack on social media.

On Thursday, Iran had also launched missile attacks on three locations in Israel including Tel Aviv.

Iranian missile strikes hit Holon, Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan.

Israeli media reported that three people were seriously injured in Holon, and about 20 others were slightly injured in Ramat Gan. Tel Aviv was also targeted.

Israeli aid organizations reported that the total number of injured from the Iranian attacks has now risen to 65.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard described the attacks as their “14th powerful coordinated strike” against various strategic sites but provided no further details.

Israeli police have urged civilians to avoid visiting hospitals affected by missile strikes due to fears of “dangerous substances.”

This appears to be the largest Iranian missile attack on Israel in recent days. An Israeli military official said numerous ballistic missiles were launched.

Soroka Hospital, located in southern Israel’s Be’er Sheva, was hit hard by the missile attacks. Videos circulating on social media show thick plumes of smoke, broken windows, and people running through corridors screaming.

A hospital spokesperson said the facility was “heavily damaged” and warned people to stay away due to concerns over leaks of “dangerous substances.” Police have urged the public to avoid the area.

There are reports of at least three other missile impacts in different parts of Israel, though these are yet to be confirmed.

BBC correspondents reported that explosions heard from Jerusalem were the loudest in several days. Significant destruction is visible at the missile strike sites in Israel’s Ramat Gan area, where photos of damaged buildings have been released.

Besides Soroka Hospital, many other locations in Israel have suffered extensive damage due to the attacks, including buildings in Tel Aviv’s Ramat Gan area.
