BCB President appoints 3 advisers

Newly appointed Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul has formed his President’s Advisory Committee by appointing three individuals with diverse expertise.

The appointments were confirmed by the BCB in an official press release.
The announcement came during a board meeting held on Thursday, shortly after Bulbul returned to Dhaka post-Eid.

The newly appointed advisers are Sakhawat Hossain, Syed Abid Hossain Sami and Barrister Shaikh Mahadi.

Sakhawat Hossain, a renowned tourism specialist, who has been named Adviser for Cricket Tourism. With years of experience in tourism sector, Sakhawat has contributed significantly to the country's tourism development and has received national and international accolades for his work.

Syed Abid Hossain Sami, a well-known sports journalist and cricket analyst, has been appointed Cricket Adviser. Sami also has experience as a domestic cricketer, adding valuable insight into the local cricketing landscape.

Barrister Shaikh Mahadi, a legal professional, has been designated as Legal Adviser to President’s Committee. His expertise in legal affairs is expected to guide the board in regulatory and compliance matters.

With this move, President Bulbul has taken a step toward building a well-rounded advisory team to support his administration as it looks to strengthen various aspects of Bangladesh cricket.
