Man held with firearms in Ctg

Police arrested a man along with a firearm near Rani Rashmanighat area in Chattogram on Thursday early morning.

The arrested is Saidur Rahman Masum alias Abul Kalam alias Blade Masum, 28, son of Md Abul Kalam of Pahartali area in the district.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid in the Rani Rashmanighat area and arrested Blade Masum.

Police also recovered a foreign pistol along with four rounds of bullets and two magazines from his possessions.

Chittagong Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (West) Hossain Mohammad Kabir Bhuiyan confirmed the incident through a press conference and said that a case has been filed against him.
