No need to be panic about Covid-19: Dr Sayedur Rahman 

Prof Dr Sayedur Rahman, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser (CA) for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, stated that there is no need to panic about Covid-19, considering the current patient pressure and the global situation.

He emphasized that the government is taking precautions, including follow-ups on Covid-19 positive patients, to monitor new variants and ensure public safety. On the other hand, special teams are working to combat dengue.He made these remarks after visiting the National Gastroliver Institute & Hospital and the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital in Dhaka's Mohakhali area on Monday.

Sayedur Rahman said, "Our activities in diagnosing the disease are ongoing. We are testing corona samples through three means. We have dedicated hospitals and dedicated units in various hospitals for treatment. The current preparedness of the health ministry in terms of diagnosis and treatment is sufficient according to the patient load and the global situation.
