With this, the death toll from the covid-19 in the country has increased to 29,504.
Meanwhile, 25 people have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus after testing 231 samples across the country in one day.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed on Monday the matter through the regular covid-19 report.
The DGHS said that one person has died of COVID-19 in Dhaka division in the last 24 hours who was woman and her age was 70-80 years range.
According to the DGHS, the detection rate of corona in the last 24 hours is 10.82 per cent. In addition, the death rate of the virus, considering the detection rate, is 1.44 per cent.
During this period, out of 50 samples tested in Dhaka, 4 were found to be infected with the deadly coronavirus.
In addition, out of 120 samples tested in Chittagong division in the last 24 hours, 10 were found to be infected with the deadly virus.
On the other hand, one person out of 10 samples tested in Cox's Bazar, nine out of 31 samples tested in Rajshahi, and one out of 5 samples tested in Sylhet have tested positive for COVID-19.
