2 more PWs testify against Samrat, Arman

Two more prosecution witnesses have testified in a narcotics case filed against expelled Dhaka South Jubo League president Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat and his associate Enamul Haque Arman.

The witnesses, Sub-Inspector Musa Mia and businessman Shahadat Alam, appeared before the court of Dhaka's 7th Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Saifur Rahman Mojumdar on Sunday. The court scheduled the next hearing for August 14. Earlier, on May 7, the first testimony in the case was delivered by the complainant, then RAB-1 DAD Abdul Khalek, confirmed Additional Public Prosecutor Mahfuz Hasan.
