Govt takes measures to prevent C-19: CA's Spl Asstt

Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for Health Ministry Prof Dr Md Sayedur Rahman on Sunday said that the government is taking special measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will follow up on positive patients for the next one month. Through this process, new variants of coronavirus can be informed, he said.

While talking to media, Sayedur Rahman also said that there is still no need to panic about the coronavirus infection. However, there is no alternative to taking precautions to protect yourself from infection.

He advised the elderly and those suffering from various non-communicable diseases to be more careful.
