Brass idols found in Bogura grave

BOGURA, June 15: Two brass idols were recovered by villagers from a family graveyard in Sadar Upazila of the district recently.

Bogura Sadar Police Station (PS) confirmed this information through a press release on Saturday.

The press release said that the idols were discovered while digging a grave near Samaj Shanti Niketon Club close to Behula's Basor Ghor in Ramshahar Uttarpara under Gokul Union in the upazila.

According to locals, a small and a larger brass idol emerged during the excavation.

Later on, local people informed the police.

On information, police recovered those idols from the scene.

Both of the idols are currently in the custody of Bogura Sadar PS.
