The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has released, for the first time, a combined schedule covering six BCS exams from the ongoing 44th to the upcoming 49th.
The timetable includes dates for preliminary tests, written exams, and final result announcements.
According to PSC sources, the 49th BCS circular will be published on November 1, with application submission open until November 30. The special 48th BCS has been given top priority, with the entire process aimed to be completed by September.
Key dates include final results of the 44th BCS on June 30, written results of the 45th BCS on June 19; final results by December 10, 46th BCS written exams from July 24; results by December 18, Preliminary exam of the 47th BCS on September 19; results on September 28; written exams start November 27.
Special 48th BCS written exam will be held on July 18; results on July 21; final recommendation by September 22.
The PSC stated that preliminary exams will be held at least two months after the circular publication, with written exams following two months after the prelim results. Oral exams will be scheduled to avoid overlap and ensure candidates have adequate preparation time.
While the schedule may be subject to change, the PSC assured that it will make every effort to adhere to the timeline. Information on upcoming BCS exams will be shared progressively, with details expected by December.
