The path to victory for pro-Bangladesh forces is becoming easier, said Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain on Friday night, following a meeting in London between Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
In a post on his verified Facebook account, the adviser remarked, “The path of victory for pro-Bangladesh people becomes easier today.”
He expressed optimism about continued political understanding, saying, “If such cooperation persists in the spirit of the July Proclamation, focused on reform, justice, and fair elections, the victory of Bangladesh is inevitable.”
He also urged the public to stay alert against conspirators, warning that “despite repeated failures, they are resurfacing with new plots.”
Earlier, the adviser shared a photo of Yunus and Tarique Rahman smiling and shaking hands at the start of their meeting, signaling what many see as a positive step toward national unity.
