Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli strikes on Iran

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel's airstrikes on Iran, which Tel Aviv claimed targeted nuclear and military sites early Friday. The strikes have heightened tensions across the region, drawing swift reactions from several governments.

In an official statement, the Saudi foreign ministry described the attacks as a "blatant aggression" and a clear violation of international law. "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the blatant Israeli aggressions against the brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran, which undermine its sovereignty and security," the ministry said.
Riyadh and Tehran were longtime regional rivals before reaching a rapprochement nearly two years ago. Since then, both nations have taken steps to rebuild diplomatic and economic ties.
