Tarique Rahman expresses grief over Gujarat plane crash

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, on Thursday, expressed deep sorrow at the tragic loss of lives in a passenger plane crash in India's Ahmedabad.

In a condolence message, he said, "The crash of a London-bound aircraft shortly after takeoff, carrying 242 passengers from various countries, is truly heartbreaking".

"I offer my deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in this deadly tragedy and express heartfelt sympathy to their family members.

In this moment of grief, let us all stand by them and offer our sincere prayers and compassion," the message reads.
