Tarique Rahman to meet Prof Yunus in London on Friday

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to meet Chief adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in London during his visit to the United Kingdom.

The meeting will be held on Friday (June 13).

Chief adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus went to the United Kingdom on Tuesday on a four-day official visit.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said to reporters, "Our acting Chairman has been formally invited to a meeting on June 13 from 9AM to 11AM London time. The meeting will take place at the hotel where the Chief Adviser is currently staying in London."

"This meeting is the most significant event at present and holds great importance both nationally and internationally. Many issues could be resolved through this dialogue, and new dimensions may emerge," Mirza Fakhrul added.
