BSF pushes 17 Bangladeshi thru C’nawabganj border

Border Security Force (BSF) reportedly pushed in 17 Bangladeshi nationals through Bibhison border under Radhanagar union at Gomostapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) officials reported that the Bangladeshi nationals were pushed in on Monday night.

Patrolling members of 16 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Bibhison BOP detained them from the border area. They handed them over to Gomostapur Police Station on Tuesday afternoon.

Among the detained individuals are four men, six women, and seven children and all are from various upazilas in the Kurigram district.

Confirming the incident, 16 BGB's Rokonpur Company Commander Subedar Faruk Hossain said that a letter has been sent to the BSF inviting them for a flag meeting regarding the matter.
