Youth’s bound body found in Pabna river

A youth’s bound body was recovered from the Gumani River at Chatomohor upazila in Pabna district.

The incident happened around 7 PM at Milonchar area under Saikola union on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Itul, 18, son of Nabir Uddin a resident of the same area.

According to locals, two unidentified young men took Itul away on a motorcycle around 10 PM on Friday. He had been missing since.

On Saturday evening, locals spotted a body with bound hands and feet floating at the river. Upon recovering the body, Itul's family identified it.

Confirming the incident, Chatomohor Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Manjurul Alam stated that police are en route to the scene.
