BSF pushes 21 Bangladeshis thru Sylhet border

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday morning reportedly pushed 21 individuals inside Bangladesh through Kanaighat border in Sylhet.

Among them, 12 are men, 4 women and 5 are children.
Confirming the matter, Zakiganj BGB-19 Battalion Commanding Officer Lt Col Md Zubair Anwar said that BGB arrested 21 people after they were pushed in from India through Sanatanpunji border area.

Initial interrogation of the detainees is underway. Work was underway to confirm their identities.

Later, action would be taken as per the law, he added.
