Woman's body found hanging in Bhola

Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife at Lalmohan upazila in Bhola on Friday morning.

The deceased was identified as Umme Habiba, wife of Md Shakil, a resident of Kader Bakshi Bari in the upazila.
Confriming the matter, Lalmohan Police Station officer-in-charge Md Sirajul Islam said that locals found Habiba hanging from the ceiling of her room and informed police.

Being informed, a team police recovered the body and sent it to Bhola General Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination.

Habiba might have committed suicide after a family dispute with her mother in law, the police official suspected.

Police were looking into the matter, the OC added.
