Bangladesh have been dealt a blow ahead of their three-match T20I series against Pakistan as Soumya Sarkar has been ruled out due to a back injury. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been named as his replacement in the squad for series starting May 28 in Lahore.
Soumya Sarkar will miss the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan after sustaining a lower back injury. The left-handed batter had been experiencing discomfort in his lower right back for over a week and medical assessments confirmed that he requires a 10 to 12-day rehabilitation period.
