2 die in M’singh separate road crash

Two individuals have lost their lives in two separate road accidents at Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh district on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at Hajirbazar and Seedstore area in the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Gholam Mostofa, 48, a resident of Baniakazi village at Muktagacha upazila in the district and Sabuj Mia, 45, a resident of Borta village in Bhaluka upazila.

According to witnesses, around 7:30 AM, a truck hit a a passenger-carrying Mahindra vehicle at Hajirbazar area on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.

In a separate incident, around 10:00 AM, Sabuj Mia, was severely injured after being hit by an motorcycle while crossing the road at Seedstore area.

Later, locals rescued and took him to Bhaluka Upazila Health Complex where he died while undergoing treatment.

Confirming the incidents, Bharadoba Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Abul Kalam said that legal action is in progress for both incidents.
