The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has pushed back the 47th BCS preliminary exam by 43 days to September 19.

The written test of the 46th BCS, which had been suspended following protests by job seekers, will begin on July 24, the PSC announced on Wednesday.
The tests on the compulsory subjects will run until Aug 3, after which the written exams for the post-specific subjects will be held from August 10-21.

The preliminary exam for the 47th BCS was originally slated for August 8.

“The exam schedules, seat plans, and other instructions will be available on the PSC and Teletalk websites,” said PSC spokesman SM Matiur Rahman.
