Madame Tussauds in London has unveiled a newly crafted wax figure of Princess Catherine, styled to reflect her role as a future queen. The updated figure is displayed alongside wax figures of her husband, Prince William, as well as King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The Princess of Wales is dressed in a shimmering pink Jenny Packham gown, silver heels, and a blue Royal Victorian Order sash—an outfit inspired by the one she wore to the annual diplomatic reception in December 2023. The ensemble is completed with a replica of the iconic Lover’s Knot tiara, once worn by Princess Diana, along with the Royal Family Order of Elizabeth II and replica Greville Diamond Chandelier earrings.
Steve Blackburn, senior general manager of the museum, said the figure was "majestically crafted by our talented studio team" to ensure her likeness is worthy of a future monarch.
This new addition comes nearly 14 months after Princess Catherine, now 43, revealed her cancer diagnosis and began undergoing chemotherapy in March 2024. She has since shared that she is in remission. The announcement had followed news that King Charles III, 76, was also diagnosed with cancer.
Prince William's figure has also been refreshed. He now appears in a black tuxedo by Ede & Ravenscroft, paired with a white bow tie, and adorned with replicas of the Order of the Garter sash and star, along with his military medals.
