Lightning kills youth

GAIBANDHA, May 20: A 22-year-old youth died after being struck by lightning strike while working in a field in Sadullapur on Tuesday morning.
The deceased Rumman Mia Limon, son of Habibur Rahman, was a resident of Tajnagar Paschimpara Village. He got married two weeks ago.
According to locals, rain began shortly after Limon went to the field. He took shelter in a nearby pump house. Tragically, lightning struck the area, killing him on the spot.
