Nusrat Faria granted bail within 24-hr of being sent to jail

Actor Nusrat Faria secured bail in attempt to murder case on Tuesday within 24 hours of being she was sent to prison.

Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mostafizur Rahman granted the bail accepting her bail petition submitted by her lawyer Barrister Mohammad Iftekher Hossain.

On Monday, the actor was sent to jail in the murder case related to July uprising.

Faria was arrested on Sunday (May 18) at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while attempting to travel to Thailand. A outstanding arrest warrant had been issued against her in the July uprising-related incident.
