BGB seizes 1.119 kgs of heroin from Jhenaidah

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has recovered 1.191 kilograms of heroin from the Maheshpur border area in Jhenaidah.

According to a press release, acting on a tip-off, a BGB team conducted a raid at Santhoshpur village on Sunday evening and found the heroin abandoned at the scene.

The seized narcotics have an estimated market value of approximately Tk 1.20 crore, the statement added.
