Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki said that from next year, the Jabbar's Sacrifice game will be organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.

The ministry will also be involved in organizing another traditional game of Chittagong, Boat Race.

Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki gave this information at a press conference held at Chittagong Circuit House on Monday afternoon.

He said, Jabbar's Boli Khela is a centennial event. It carries the tradition of Chittagong. We have spoken to the Boli Khela Celebration Committee.

From next year, the Ministry of Culture will be associated with organizing Jabbar's Boli Khela. It will be included in the calendar of the Ministry of Culture.

Along with this, the boat race will also be included in the calendar. At this time, he requested the committee to organize the boat race on Pahela Boishakh.

Adviser also said that different areas of Bangladesh have different cultural traditions.

The ministry is preparing a cultural calendar based on the traditional cultures of the country, through which people can stay connected with cultural activities throughout the year.

Meanwhile, Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki visited the Zia Memorial Museum.

Adviser Farooki said, The Zia Memorial Museum has been in an inactive state for the last 16 years. We held a meeting at the ministry a couple of months ago, after which we made an initial decision to double the budget allocated, which has been done.

Since it is a Zia Museum, the memories of Ziaur Rahman's entire life will be preserved in this museum. This is a time-consuming matter.

For this, research needs to be done on Ziaur Rahman's biography and a curator needs to be appointed to inform about the museum in a good way.

Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam and officials from various organizations were also present at the press conference.
