BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said on Friday that the 31-point plan announced by BNP leader Tarique Rahman includes all basic human rights, like education, health, and jobs.
Speaking at a seminar in Khulna, organized by the Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal of the Khulna-Barisal division he said, Awami League has destroyed democracy, made one-party rule, and allowed corruption since 2014 through manipulated elections.
Salahuddin said that corruption started during the time of Sheikh Mujib and continued till the regime of Sheikh Hasina.
He called the Awami League government illegal and fascist and said many people gave their lives fighting against it.
He added that national unity must be built to fight against fascism, and BNP's 31-point plan is the way to bring dramatic change in the country.
Salahuddin called the 31-point plan a "political epic" and said it shows how to give people their rights. He said everyone in BNP, especially the youth, must carry forward this message to the people.
The seminar was first planned to be held at Khulna, Zia Hall, but the venue was changed to Khulna Press Club to avoid problems for the public.
