Electric shuttles introduced at DU

Dhaka University (DU) has introduced a new electric shuttle car service on campus to provide students with safer and more convenient transportation.

Under an initiative supported by Green Future Foundation, four electric shuttle cars will operate daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Fares will range from Tk 10 to Tk 20, depending on the selected route. Each vehicle can accommodate up to 14 passengers and will be staffed with a volunteer to assist commuters during their rides.

Initially, the service will cover four designated routes across the university campus.
