Faridpur factory fined for producing adulterated foods 

A mobile court on Friday night fined an unauthorized factory Tk 50,000 for producing adulterated baby foods at Boalmari Municipality in Faridpur.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Golam Rabbani Sohel imposed the fine on the owner of the factory Zahidul Islam under the Consumer Rights Protection Act.

The factory, located on Al Hasan Mohila Madrasa Road, was sealed off during the drive. A large quantity of fake baby food was also recovered, seized, and later destroyed at the land office.
