Youth dies after falling off tree in Pabna

A 25-year-old young man died after falling off a mango tree in Pabna's Chatmohar upazila on Sunday.

The incident took place around 10:00 AM at Bahadurpur village in the upazila.
The deceased was identified as Ismayeel Hossain, son of Makbul Hossain, a resident of the same village in the upazila.

According to locals, Ismayeel climbed upon a tree to collect mangoes. He, at one stage, fell off after breaking the portion of the tree, leaving him seriously injured.

Later, family members rescued him from the spot and took him to Pabna General Hospital for treatment. Ismayeel succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital around 11:00 AM.

Modhurapur Union Parishad former chairman Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the matter.
