Unemployment is a major challenge in our country. According to the BBS Labour Force Survey of 2022, 2.7 million people are jobless. In addition, over 10 million people are employed in jobs that do not meet minimum satisfaction levels or are not aligned with their career aspirations. As a result, many are leading a monotonous and unfulfilling lifestyle.

In this context, tuition has emerged as an effective and popular part-time and full-time occupation among university students and educated unemployed individuals.

However, due to the lack of an organized structure, this sector often faces allegations of security fraud and inefficiency. To bring transparency, security, and discipline to this disorganized space, the tech-based platform Caretutors began its journey in 2012.

Caretutors is an online-based tuition platform that operates through both a website and a mobile app. So far, more than 400,000 tutors have connected with this platform across all divisional cities in Bangladesh. Students and guardians can easily manage tuition services through an online registration process.

This platform is particularly helpful for university students. For many, tuition is their only source of income, as they cannot pursue full-time jobs and often lack family support. Some engage in tutoring to earn extra income, while others choose it as a meaningful alternative to spending time in an unproductive job search.

Founder and CEO Masood Parvez Raju states, "We want the tuition sector to be safe, transparent, and respected. Our mission is to make this platform so reliable that students can continue their tuition with full confidence, and guardians can find the perfect tutor for their children without hesitation. We also aim to make Caretutors a world-class organization by earning the trust of our stakeholders."

His long-term goal is to build a mega tuition ecosystem by connecting 2 million stakeholders by 2030, creating a trustworthy and collaborative network between tutors and guardians. He hopes that tuition will become one of the most respected and employment-oriented sectors in Bangladesh.
