Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said that the cycle of retaliatory attacks between India and Pakistan following the recent terrorist incident in Kashmir's Pahalgam will bring no good to either side.

In a statement posted on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman called on both nations to act responsibly and avoid further escalation.
"Following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, tensions have escalated between the two countries, resulting in retaliatory strikes. Such actions are not beneficial for anyone," he said in the post.

He also added, "There should be a credible, impartial, and international investigation into the incident. Both sides must demonstrate responsibility. At the end of the day, war benefits no one. I sincerely hope for a lasting and peaceful solution to the problems faced by the people of Kashmir."
