Maulana Masum made acting Secy Gen of Jamaat

Maulana ATM Masum has been appointed the Acting Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

The announcement came through a press release issued by the party's central publicity department on Wednesday.

According to the press release, current Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Porwar left Dhaka for Saudi Arabia at 1:00 pm on Wednesday along with his wife to perform the holy Hajj. He is expected to return to the country on the morning of June 11.
