BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's return to the country will make democracy easier, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented on Tuesday after receiving the party leader at Dhaka airport.
"Khaleda Zia's homecoming is a very important matter for people amid the current situation of the country. Her return will be more helpful in building a discrimination-free Bangladesh."
"We believe our leader's presence and return will make it easier to restore democracy," Mirza Fakhrul added.
Responmding a question of reporters at the airport in the morning, the BNP leader made this comment.
He sought doa to all for the BNP chief.
Khaleda Zia, along with her two daughters-in-law, including Tarique Rahman's wife Dr Zubaida Rahman, returned home on Tuesday morning.
Fakhrul, along with several senior party leaders, arrived at the airport around 8:40AM to receive Khaleda
Zia. Two footpaths of the airport road were filled up with the party activists and supporters.
