BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday said that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is returning to Dhaka with her two daughters-in-law on a Royal Ambulance of Qatar, which is known as 'flying ICU' tomorrow (May 5).
Speaking with reporters after a joint party meeting at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office he said, "Everyone is excited about Khaleda Zia returning to home on a special plane.
"Everyone is ready to welcome the BNP Chairperson," he said.
Fakhrul said, "BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia underwent treatment at a hospital in the UK for four months.
After that, she underwent treatment under the supervision of doctors at Tarique Rahman's house. Her condition has improved every day."
Fakhrul said that the Khaleda Zia's physical condition has improved due to the good environment and being with her family, as well as the tests and treatment. She is currently feeling much better. Therefore, he has decided to return home.
Addressing the BNP leaders and activists, Mirza Fakhrul said that everyone should stand in an orderly manner on both sides of the road while welcoming our Chairperson.
He requested the general public to avoid the road from the airport to Kakoli and use the elevated expressway for Begum Zia's arrival and reception.
