According to a weather update from the Met Office, isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in these areas, while the rest of the country is expected to experience mainly dry weather with partly cloudy skies.
Daytime temperatures across the country are likely to rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures are expected to remain mostly unchanged.
The highest temperature recorded in the country over the past 24 hours was 35.8°C in Jashore, while the lowest was 20.5°C in Rajarhat, Kurigram.
The BMD also noted the presence of a low-pressure trough extending from West Bengal to the North Bay, crossing the southwestern region of Bangladesh.
