Four held with 16kg cannabis in Ctg

Police arrested four individuals along with 16 kg of cannabis fromCRB Satrasta intersection area under Kotwali Police Station in Chattogram.

The arrested were identified as Md Rabiul Awal alias Awal, 25, Nizam Uddin, 32, Md Shamim, 48, and Md Rubel alias Salauddin, 48.
Confirming the matter, Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge M Abdul Karim said that a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the four persons.

Police also recovered 16 kg of cannabis and a private car from their possessions.

Legal process was underway in this connection, the OC added.
