Two armed members of India’s Border Security Force (BSF) crossed the international border and illegally entered Bangladesh in an attempt to apprehend local farmers.

The incident, which took place recently near the Bangladesh-India border, ended with the BSF soldiers apologizing after being caught by locals and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The matter came to light after a video of the incident went viral on Facebook.

In the footage, the two BSF personnel are seen struggling with BGB members and eventually falling to the ground, pleading for forgiveness.

According to sources, the BGB quickly responded from a nearby camp after being alerted of the trespassing. Locals and BGB personnel managed to apprehend the BSF members along with their weapons. After the BSF soldiers apologized, they were handed over to their authorities through proper diplomatic and procedural channels.
