Avoid negative publicity involving Mongla Port: MPA

KHULNA, April 29: Mongla Port Authority (MPA) on Tuesday urged all concerned parties to avoid internal conflicts and negative publicity involving the country's important sea port.

In a press statement, it stated that in the interest of national welfare, all concerned to work collectively and in unity toward the port's development, avoiding internal conflicts and negative publicity on the port.

Referring to the story regarding the internal conflict among Mongla Port Workers, circulating in social media, the statement said the conflict was among the stevedore-controlled workers, not the workers of MPA.
