The judge of a Dhaka court on Monday 'felt embarrassed' to hear further the case filed against cricketer Nasir Hossain and his wife Tamima Sultana Tammi, and ordered the case to be transferred to another court.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Wahiduzzaman issued the order, citing time constraints and the impact on other cases.

Both Nasir and Tamima were present in the courtroom for their defense hearing. Their lawyer, Advocate Azizur Rahman Dulu, submitted two petitions, including one accusing the plaintiff's lawyer, Ishrat Hasan, of contempt of court over her media comments regarding the case.
