Necessity of installing CCTV cameras

Dear Sir,
In today's world, CCTV cameras are an essential technology for ensuring security. In Bangladesh, the use of CCTV cameras on roads began in early 2013, but their number is still very low compared to the actual need. Installing CCTV cameras is crucial for public safety as they help prevent criminal activities and collect necessary evidence. Additionally, they are effective in controlling traffic congestion and identifying the causes of road accidents.

At present, various types of crimes, including theft, mugging, and even public killings, have increased in different districts of the country, including Dhaka. CCTV cameras can help prevent such crimes by monitoring road conditions and analyzing footage to gather vital evidence. Crimes are more frequent in secluded areas, making CCTV cameras particularly necessary in such locations. Moreover, busy commercial zones and important roads are often crime-prone, so installing CCTV cameras in these areas is extremely important.
If advanced CCTV cameras are installed at different intersections, ensuring public safety will become much easier. Therefore, for the sake of public security, increasing the number of CCTV cameras in all key locations and roads is highly necessary.
