One person was killed and 50 others were injured in a clash between two groups from Badda and Barail villages at Nabinagar upazila in Bramhonbaria district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Aziz Mia, 52, son of late Sharif Uddin from Badda village.

According to locals, the clash erupted due to prior enmity when residents of Badda village allegedly attacked Barail village around noon.
