DMP files 1,823 cases for traffic law violations in Dhaka

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 1,823 cases against traffic law violators across various areas of the capital.

These cases were filed on Sunday (April 27) during drives conducted by the DMP's traffic division.
The information was confirmed on Monday (April 28) by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division.

In addition to the cases, 255 vehicles were dumped and 107 vehicles were towed during the operations. The DMP stated that such drives will continue to ensure traffic discipline in Dhaka city.
