Trader's body found in Kulaura hotel

A businessman’s body was recovered in a residential hotel named Azad Boarding in Kulaura, Moulvibazar district.

The body of 77-year-old Fasiul Alam, a resident of Sandwip Upazila in Chattogram, was found on Sunday night (April 27).
Upon receiving the news, Kulaura Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Kamrul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Golam Apsar, General Secretary of the Business Association M. Atikur Rahman Akhi, and others visited the scene.

OC Golam Apsar stated that Fasiul was a frequent guest at Azad Boarding, where he stayed under as a businessman. He had been residing in the hotel since April 9. On Sunday afternoon, when there was no response from Fasiul’s room, the hotel management broke open the door and found him lying lifeless under the bed. They immediately informed police.

The police recovered Fasiul's body at around 9 PM and sent it to the morgue for an autopsy.
