UIU closed indefinitely following resignation of VC, department heads

United International University (UIU) authorities closed the institution for an indefinite period in view of certain unforeseen circumstances, following the resignation of its vice chancellor and 11 department heads.

The announcement was made via the university's verified Facebook page on Sunday night.

Citing Registrar Zulfiqur Rahman, the statement said that all academic and administrative activities will remain suspended until further notice in view of the current situation.
