Students of Jagannath University (JnU) on Sunday staged a protest to press home their seven-point demand.
During the protest, they demanded reform of the Public Service Commission (PSC) and punishment for those involved in question paper leaks.
The protest began at 1:30 PM in front of the university's central mosque and marched through the Faculty of Science premises, the main gate, and the Shanto Chattar.
After the protest march, they held a rally at Shanto Chattar. During the rally, Sajjad Hossain Munna, a student of the Bangla department and spokesperson for the movement, presented the 7-point demands.
He said the viva marks for the 45th BCS must be set at 100. Marks for preliminary, written, and viva exams must be published. A specific roadmap for each BCS examination must be announced. Measures must be taken to reduce harassment during the verification process to ensure fairness in the recommendation process, and the gazette publication must be transparent and impartial.
Arman Hossain, a Department of Mass Communication and Journalism student, said their PSC movement will continue until reforms are not implemented.
He also stated that there is no doubt that the 46th BCS exam questions were leaked and that officials and students involved must be brought under exemplary punishment.
